		«Silvertown Blues» est une chanson de «Sailing to Philadelphia» qui est le deuxième album studio en solo par le chanteur-compositeur-interprète et guitariste britannique Mark Knopfler, publié le 26 Septembre 2000 par Vertigo records au niveau international, et par Warner Bros Records aux États-Unis. L'album contient aussi les performances vocales de James Taylor et de Van Morrison. Le titre est tiré de Mason & Dixon par Thomas Pynchon, un roman sur Charles Mason et Jeremiah Dixon; les deux géomètres anglais qui ont établi la frontière entre la Pennsylvanie et le Maryland, le Delaware et la Virginie dans les années 1760. La frontière est devenue plus tard connue sous le nom de ligne Mason-Dixon et a été utilisée depuis les années 1820 pour désigner la frontière entre le sud des États-Unis et le Nord des États-Unis.
